DisneyWorld/Universal - Day 2 - Universal Studios

We spent 2 days at Universal Theme Park.

The first day was at Universal Studios.

Gage loved to hug all the characters he saw.  Curious George was the first for the day.

We were excited about the Despicable Me ride, but I personally was a little disappointed.  It was just a 3-D ride, as many rides are these days.  I can't say it was worth the long line and Gage hated it.  I kept telling him to just close his eyes.  

But at least we got a picture with a minion!

And yet again Gage hated it.  After crying on two rides, we decided to split up.  The big kids headed for Revenge of the Mummy and Transformers 3D ride.  Of course, since I have the camera, there are not any pictures of those.  

Gage found something a lot more his style.

Here comes Dora.  This was our view for a few hours as we waited for all the character parades.  It was super hot on the concrete, but Gage found a fountain to play in while we waited between shows.

And finally Despicable Me.  This is who we were waiting for!

After our character parades and photos, we headed to Curious George Goes to Town play area.  Gage enjoyed the refreshing water play even though we didn't have dry clothes.  

Even Uncle Adam and daddy got a picture with the Simpsons!

We all met back together for the Simpsons Ride and the Men in Black ride.  We ended the day with the super scary roller coaster, The Rockit!  Cort and I were the only ones brave enough to ride it! And it ROCKED!
