I am a little late on my 15 month post. He is actually approaching 17 months now, but better late than never.

A little bit about Gage:
Gage loves to eat carrots, green beans, broccoli, banana, watermelon, applesauce, yogurt, cheese, mini pancakes, potatoes, beefaroni, and spaghetti, but not a big fan of meat yet. He is following Cort's eating patterns.
When you give him something to eat he will let you know he likes it by doing the 'happy dance'. I need to get it on video. He will wiggle his head and shoulders back and forth quickly with a big smile on his face. I took a bite of my breakfast the other day and caught myself doing the 'happy dance'. Guess he is rubbing off on me.

Gage has learned how to demand our attention. He will tell you to follow him by motioning his hand or he will pat his legs kind of like if you were calling a dog. He has even started pointing to you and says 'up' because he wants you to get up. Then he will sit down and pat the floor for you to sit next to him. And if you don't follow his directions he will fuss at you. He also loves to give high-fives.

Gage can say a few words now. He says uh-oh, thank you, momma, dadda, more (with sign language), again, ball, bubble, book, up, go, and he attempts to call Keaton, Cort, Dixie and Lady. You know who he is talking to, but he is not actually saying their name clearly. He tries to copy other words when we ask him to say them. He will show you his nose sometimes, but always can show you his paci, which is usually in his mouth.

This particular day I was slow to get the camera out. I really wished I had the video camera available too. Gage was too adorable playing with Keaton and Cort. He would run to one of them and throw his arms around their neck and squeeze them. Then he would turn and run to the other one. Gage loves to give big hugs. And if you ask for a kiss he leans his head in to your face for you to kiss him. He will do this a couple of times. I guess he knows momma always need more than one kiss.

We have a Leapster ABC toy on the refrigerator that sings the ABC song when you push the button. Gage loves to push the button and dance. His dancing consists of him rocking back and forth with his elbows going up and down. If you don't join in the dancing he points to you and tells you to dance (not so much in words but grunts). If you stop dancing and he catches you, he tells you to dance again.
He is so funny with the noise he makes when he sees any animal. It is the same noise for a cow, tiger, dog, it doesn't matter. He growls 'Ra Ra'. And I love how he claps his hands when he is proud of himself. Like look at me I did it. He will stack some blocks and he will smile and clap his hands, yeah!, before he knocks them down again. He also gives me an ovation for every song I sing him. And tells me to sing 'gin'. I must be an American Idol after all.
