Sea World - Part 1

There it is.  The view of Sea World from our hotel. 

And we are ready!!  Waiting for the shuttle to take us to Sea World.

Three days with Shamu and friends.

First up, feed the dolphins!

 

 

 

Our first ride was the Shamu Express.  Once Keaton and Cort discovered the bigger roller coasters, they never made it back to the kiddie section.

Gage loved the Shamu roller coaster.

He was just barely tall enough to ride it.

He loved it so much, he didn't want to get off.

We peeled him away from the Shamu Express and made it to the Sesame Street Bay of Play.

Keaton and Cort even enjoyed the carousel called Grover's Round Up.

It took bribery to get Keaton on the Great White.  He finally decided to ride with mom.  Before we left the gate he was crying.  Nothing I could do now, we were on our great white adventure.  As we pull back in the gate I hear him yell, "that was AWESOME!".  He was hooked. 

Cort wasn't actually tall enough for the Great White and didn't get to ride it our first visit.  He actually 'grew' before we returned to the park later that day.  He too loved it.  They both rode it over and over.......

Gage was so good the whole trip.  He patiently waited and relaxed in the stroller.

Keaton wanted daddy to win him a penguin. 

And he did......not the big one, but hey, we will take it.

Another winner!!!  Big brother had to win won for Cort.

It was the middle of August and so we had to enjoy the splash area.

Playing in the water is so much fun!

We did 2 full days at Sea World.  Both days we arrived when the park opened.  Around 2:00 we shuttled back to the hotel for lunch and a nap.  Then we headed back to the park around 5:00 until closing.  We snacked all through the day, but didn't eat dinner until we returned to the hotel around 10:00.  What troupers the kids were.  The final day we  only stayed until 3:00 before heading back to Houston.

We actually rode the Steel Eel before the Great White.  I rode this one with Keaton first also.  He was so funny, screaming the whole time, "Get me off of this thing", as we are flying out of our seats. 
 

I can't even tell you how many times we rode each of these rides.  This was a picture I took at the end of one night.  We rode it as many times as we could until they closed the ride.  Three or four times without even getting off.

No one won a penguin for me.....I want this big dolphin!!!
