A Boy Slumber Party

Our first official slumber party took place Memorial Weekend for Keaton's birthday.  Keaton invited 3 friends so there was a total of 6 boys running around ages 14 months to 9.  The boys arrived and the water balloon fight broke out immediately in the backyard.  They proceeded to sneak attack the next door neighbor hanging poolside.  The neighbor little girl had two friends over and the girls loved the attention of the boys.  They pushed the boys in the pool and even retaliated with a water balloon attack.  

The boys were nice enough to break for pictures without too much complaining.

with Double Dave's chocolate chip pizza for dessert.

Keaton opened presents after dinner. 

Mom and dad gave him the Rip Stick he had been asking for.

A Pokemon yo-yo,

a Baseball DS game, and

Baseball Nintendo game along with more water guns and a nerf dart game were gifts from his friends.

Ready to head out to The Showboat Drive In to see Kung Fu Panda 2.

The drive in was a great experience.  The only downside is that you have to get there plenty of early to reserve your parking spot so we had an hour and a half before the movie started.  The drive in shows a double feature, but we only stayed for the 1st movie.  Thor was showing next and it is rated PG-13, besides it was already 11:00 before we got home as it was.

The boys watched some TV and played DS, before sacking out around midnight.



The next morning after breakfast they all headed outside to play catch and try out the Rip Stick.
The flags were out on our street for Memorial Day.
