Easter Creek 2014

The Roberson clan gathered at the creek Easter weekend.  This was our first trip to the creek since they purchased the neighboring house.  This gives us plenty of room for our three families.

Aunt Julie organized a few Easter activities.  This was the first time my kids dyed eggs.  I know, I am a terrible mom.  But with two kids with previous egg allergies, it just wasn't in my list of to-do's. 

But I am glad to say they all really enjoyed.  We will have to do it again next year

Mark and Adam took the big kids fishing early one morning.  Gage fished from the dock while we were waiting for them to return.

Aunt Julie had a great idea of taking pictures while we were altogether for a Mother's Day gift to Nana.  I love getting the kids dressed up and taking pictures.  Them.....not so much.

This was the gift for Nana.  I think it turned out super cute!

The kids had a lot of fun climbing on this tree. 

I think we are going to try to take pictures every year going forward.  It would be fun to use this tree again too.

Spring Break 2014

Apparently over Spring Break I took a break from taking pictures. I know it was packed with fun, but I only found these two.  Just to sum it:  Keaton had a sleepover with Josh Moore, we saw a movie and went to Cosmic Jump with Jaden Schlett, Keaton and Cort went to the rodeo with Nana and Papa, and roller skating with Levi and Ella. 

 



We had a special reunion with the Brady's visiting from Illinois.
Just like old times.  The kids picked up right were they left off.  They bounced on the trampoline, played kick ball in the street and watched a movie.  It was great to have all the kids piled upstairs again.

Now that he is a big boy, it is time for a few first.

 

1st Haircut at a salon.
I have always cut his hair but it was time for a professional.  It took some bribery, but he got in the chair. 

1st Dentist appointment
I think he did better at the dentist than he did at the hair salon. 

We had a great nurse and who doesn't like to look cool in sunglasses.

Perfect check up!!  Good job on all that brushing!

Gage's birthday falls during Spring Break.  A lot of our friends were out of town but we are super glad some special ones joined us to celebrate.

On his actual birthday we continued with our family tradition and celebrated at Chuck E Cheese.  Papa Dan, Gee, Casey and Aria joined us.

 

 

 

 

Now for a family party at our house with Nana and Papa, Grandfather and Aunt Kerrie also joining us.
